This is fascinating...愛文生 looks a lot more interesting than some of the places in Central. Love seeing the fresh seafood in those styrofoam boxes. Does 盛記 have this too, or only fish on ice/冰鮮魚?
ReplyDeleteIt is such a shame that western programs like Anthony Bourdain go to indoor DPD like 東寶 (and American viewers think that is the place to go), and he skips original feel places like 愛文生 or Sham Shui Po dai pai dongs.
A few months ago I saw a HK TV/cable show clip on youtube, hosted by some ugly looking leng mo trying to say how hot it was sitting right next to the cooking area at 愛文生 and proceeded to remove her top...then the comments said something like "girl has nothing to show (飛機場) and should not have taken off her top..." ;-).
Also is 強記大排檔 any good?
